The RMP Central Benevolent Fund was set up in 1944 to maintain esprit de corps of the Royal Military Police and importantly to provide financial and moral help to current and former members of the Corps, and their dependents, who may for the time being be in need of charitable assistance or benefit.
The Veterans' Foundation has been set up to help fund charities and other charitable organisations that are helping serving and former members of the Armed Forces, and their dependants, who are in need.
The Veterans' Foundation raises its money through the Veterans’ Lottery and donations. Since inception in July 2017, it has given £3.6 million out in grants to about 250 organisations, many of them small to medium-sized and very worthwhile charities, which are helping members of the Armed Forces community who are in need. Forecasts indicate the Veterans’ Foundation will make grants totalling £3 million this financial year. The charities and other organisations we have helped include those tackling the challenges of mental and physical injuries, homelessness, unemployment, children’s loss of parents while serving and remembrance. We encourage you to spread the word.
Superyacht Charities wants to ensure that worthy causes receive funding to help the growth of smaller non-government funded not-for-profit organisations.
We support charitable causes that do not receive any Government funding and that can prove to us that more than 90% of all funds they receive are spent on the cause they support
• To achieve this SYC has launched a new initiative starting in 2022, enabling the superyacht industry to support a broader charitable need.
• This is known as ‘Cash4Causes’
• Rather than SYC selecting the charities and causes to support, we want you to apply to us so that we can use our funds to make a difference

Sports England are the arms-length body of government responsible for growing and developing grassroots sport and getting more people active across England.
They started out as The Sports Council, an independent body under the Department of National Heritage, that was established by Royal Charter in 1972.
In 1996 an amended Royal Charter established The English Sports Council, which came into being on 1 January 1997 as The Sports Council was reorganised into UK Sport and the home nations sports councils – they were then rebranded as Sport England in 1999.
